A friend of mine once said, “ You put your soul into your art, then someone else comes along, sees it and it speaks to their soul.”

Creative inspiration for my visual art has always come from the landscape around me and from my personal experiences, thoughts and reflections on the natural world. The mystery of nature’s processes that work to produce and evolve the landscape is fascinating to me and the intricacy of nature’s art, such as a tiny insect’s wing, breathtaking. My intention is to transfer my love and appreciation of nature and the landscape that is a part of my life into my art so that it speaks to your soul.

In my studio I may work in oils or acrylics, with the fine detail of a brush to broad strokes of the palette knife. Both of these movements are freeing of the spirit and peace to the soul.
